Cruiser FAQ
(Travel agents: see Travel Agent FAQ)

Why should I use CruiseCompete.com?

CruiseCompete makes it easy for you to get competing recommendations and quotes from the high-volume cruise travel agencies to help you get the best deal on your next cruise.

You can read comments from some of our users in our Success Stories section.

Is it free?

Yes! This service is completely free to people looking for cruises.

How does it work?

Simply enter a quote request--your e-mail address, the name and sail date of the cruise ship you're interested in, and a few other pieces of related information. We get your request to top travel agencies, who respond with their best rates for your trip. Each time a quote is received, we'll let you know via e-mail and send you a link to view the quote in your account. We provide you with contact information for each agency that responds, so you can contact them directly when you choose to arrange your trip.

If I request a quote, am I obligated to buy?

No. After you receive the quotes, it is up to you decide which agency or agencies to contact and whether to buy.

Who gets my access to my e-mail address?

CruiseCompete.com keeps your e-mail address private. The travel agents who are members of the site only see it if you choose to send it to them when you contact them directly. For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.

How do I turn off a quote request?
To stop receiving quotes on a particular trip, simply access your account; select the quote request by ship name and date and click on "turn off".

What if I'm a first-time cruiser and/or don't know what ship I want to sail on?

CruiseCompete can help match you with an experienced cruise travel agent to find the cruise that's right for you. Click on Live Agent Help to get started.
